Course Overview

The Bachelor in Radiology & Imaging Technology (BRIT) program at BPR College of Allied Health Science, Vellore, is a 4-year undergraduate degree (3 years academic + 1-year internship) designed to train students in the field of medical imaging and diagnostic radiography.
This program equips students with the knowledge and technical expertise to perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and other advanced imaging techniques. Students learn to operate sophisticated imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, and assist radiologists in capturing accurate diagnostic images for effective patient care.
With a strong focus on both theoretical learning and hands-on clinical training, the program prepares students to become skilled imaging technologists who play a vital role in disease diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

Graduates of the BRIT program will be able to

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines.
