Course Overview

The Bachelor in Emergency & Trauma Care Technology (BETCT) program at BPR College of Allied Health Science, Vellore, is a 4-year undergraduate course (3 years academic + 1-year internship) designed to train students to handle medical emergencies, trauma situations, and critical care cases efficiently.
This program focuses on developing the essential clinical skills and decision-making abilities required to assist physicians and emergency specialists during life-saving procedures. Students learn advanced emergency medical techniques, trauma management, first aid, and patient stabilization through simulated training and real-time hospital exposure.
Graduates become competent professionals capable of managing patients in ambulances, emergency departments, ICUs, and trauma units, ensuring immediate and effective response to critical medical conditions.
