Course Overview

The Bachelor in Operation Theatre Technology (BOTT) program at BPR College of Allied Health Science, Vellore, is a 4-year undergraduate course (3 years academic + 1-year internship) designed to prepare students for a vital role in surgical and emergency care environments.
This program provides comprehensive training in operation theatre management, surgical procedures, anesthesia techniques, sterilization, and patient monitoring. Students are trained to assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during all types of surgeries and medical interventions.
Through classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience, students gain expertise in maintaining operation theatre equipment, ensuring aseptic conditions, and supporting the surgical team in pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.
